Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
Tranquil Pots LLC (“Tranquil Pots,” “we,” “us”) operates tranquilpots.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions about anything here go to support@tranquilpots.com.
Information you give us
- Order information. When you buy something, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, phone number (if provided), and the contents of your order.
- Pre-order and reserve-list information. If you join a pre-order or reserve list, we collect your email address and the sizes and quantities you reserved.
- Messages you send us. When you use our contact or customer service forms, or email us directly, we receive your name, email address, order number if you supply one, and whatever you write in the message.
Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number, expiration date, and security code are entered on Stripe’s systems and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation of payment plus limited details such as the last four digits of the card, the card brand, and the billing address, which we use to fulfill and support your order. Stripe processes this data under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Information collected automatically
- Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-K4KPCCB2) to load Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects your IP address, device and browser type, referring page, and the pages you view on this site. This helps us understand which products and pages people actually use.
- Umami analytics. We use Umami to record aggregate, privacy-focused usage events such as adding an item to the cart or starting checkout. Umami does not use advertising cookies and does not build cross-site profiles of you.
- Server logs. Our hosting infrastructure records standard request logs, including IP address, timestamp, and requested URL, for security and troubleshooting.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from browsing or purchasing.
How we use your information
- To process, fulfill, and ship your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
- To send transactional email — order confirmations, shipping notices, and replies to your questions.
- To send cart recovery email. If you begin a checkout and do not complete it, we may send you a reminder at the email address you entered. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them permanently.
- To notify pre-order and reserve-list subscribers when their product is available.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and technical problems.
- To understand aggregate site usage so we can improve the store.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.
Who we share information with
We share only what each provider needs to do its job:
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention.
- SMTP2GO — delivery of our transactional and order-related email.
- Formspree — receipt and delivery of messages submitted through our contact and customer service forms.
- Cloudflare — DNS, site delivery, security filtering, and routing of email sent to our @tranquilpots.com addresses.
- Google — analytics and tag management.
- Our fulfillment and shipping partners — the name, address, and order contents needed to pack and deliver your order.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained as long as needed to support the order and to meet tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping requirements — generally at least seven years. Contact and customer service messages are retained while they are useful for support history. Marketing and reserve-list subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.
Security
We use HTTPS across the site, restrict administrative access to our systems, and keep payment card data entirely off our infrastructure by routing it to Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing and cart-recovery email using the link in any such message.
- Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@tranquilpots.com. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to keep certain order records to meet legal obligations even after a deletion request.
- California residents may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and request deletion, and may not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
- EU/UK residents may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract (orders), legitimate interests (security, analytics, cart recovery), and consent where required.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, email support@tranquilpots.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or our providers change. We will revise the “last updated” date above, and material changes will be noted on this page.
