A round pot of moderate to large size needs a tray with enough spread to catch its runoff, and this beige ceramic round measures 10 inches across and 1.0 inch tall outside, with an interior of about 9.25 inches across and 0.75 inches deep. The size makes it a fit for larger round bonsai pots or for grouping several smaller pots on a single stand. Beige glaze stays neutral against most tree foliage and container colours. As with smaller trays in the line, its function is to collect water during watering, protect the surface below from staining, and hold a shallow reserve that supports humidity around the planting.
