Sized between the small and large trays in this line, the medium tray measures 8.5 by 6.25 by 0.75 inches outside and 7 by 5 by 0.5 inches inside, enough room for a mid-size pot with some clearance to spare. Placed underneath a bonsai, it collects excess water during watering and lets a shallow layer evaporate upward, adding a bit of ambient humidity around the foliage. The flat plastic base also keeps drips off tables, shelves, and windowsills. It works equally well under a single pot or a small grouping of accent plants sharing one saucer.
