Like other pots in the Professional Series, it carries a bit more depth than a standard rectangle of the same length, giving four inches of room for a tree with an established root system. Cooler glaze tones such as this generally pair with deciduous and flowering species rather than pines or junipers, which are more often shown in unglazed earth-toned clay. An attached tray beneath the pot collects drip and adds humidity around the base.
